Bioinformatician | Master of Biomedical Science Student | Computer Science Graduate
Mitchell Hodgson is a Master of Biomedical Science Student and Bioinformatician within the Clark Laboratory of Transcriptomics and Neurogenetics and the Brierley Laboratory's Visceral Pain Research Group. His work centres on single-cell pipelines and analysis, as well as psychiatric aetiology and genetics.
Across his career, he has been recognised with awards across Computer Science and Biomedical Science. This includes three Chancellor's Letters of Commendation at Flinders University, research scholarships from the South Australian Medical Research Institute and the Australian Institute for Machine Learning, as well as funding from Flinders University to undertake an international academic exchange at IMT Atlantique.
He aims to apply his knowledge and passion to meaningful projects within groups that embrace innovation, collaboration and are making a positive impact on the world.
